The Jeep came during the American war effort in the late 1930s and early 40s, when a light vehicle was needed, with ability to overcome difficult terrain and obstacles, and able to take some men and weapons. At the end of WWII, the Willys Jeep ordered the registration of the name.
The first prototype was the Bantam BRC whose back is similar to the rear of the Jeep Willys Jeep and Ford, but the front is rounded, well according to the typical end of the design of the 1930's on the collective mind that the first Jeep was the Willys MB or simply "42" (1942), but this is a mistake. Before him, other models of Jeep were sent to the front lines, as the Willys Quad, the Bantam BRC 40, the Willys MA and the Ford GP or Pigmy. The vehicle Ford was called "GP" and can be confused with the origin of the Jeep name.
The mere mention of the jeep, which is derived from the abbreviation for multi-function in English, indicates the various vehicle usage possibilities. Its robustness and strength allowed him to adapt to any terrain.
This is a 1/72 Mistercraft plastic kit, to build a 1/4 tonn Jeep Willys. Include two figures.
